If your world begins with Jesus…it will blessedly be completed in Jesus. This is simply an admission of desperation. Christ is all we have and we must cling to Him with all our might…this world and all that is in it will pass away…but our Lord will remain. John 8:12

I’ve wanted to write this song for years…just a simple message of celebration…death has lost it’s power, the grave is empty…Jesus is alive…and all life has meaning and purpose…because Jesus is alive! 1 Corinthians 15:55

This world really has nothing for us…no matter how much we indulge ourselves; the only thing that fills us and gives life meaning is Jesus Christ. If I can only keep the frame of mind that the lost son had at the very moment that he knew he would only ever find life in the Father…I will be just fine. One day as I was driving west on the interstate the sun was setting over the mountains in radiant pinks, oranges and purple tones…I felt like God was saying “I’m doing this so you can see my glory.” If creation is only the tip of His majesty and glory…Imagine just how majestic our Lord truly is… Psalm 145

6. Offering for My King
Anything I ever do that is good is from the Lord…anything I ever say that is good is from the Lord…it’s all about Him and couldn’t be any less about me. May He always receive the glory…my life is simply an offering for Jesus. I wrote this song not long after having won a “Star Search” type contest because I wanted to remind myself as well as everyone that it’s all bout Jesus…couldn’t be any less about me. Romans 12

What good is it to praise the Lord in front of others and yet live a life of shame behind closed doors…I’m preaching to myself…I want to be blameless in public and private that our Lord would receive the glory and the world would be changed. Psalm 101

El Shaddai…the All Sufficient God (Really the God of the breast…get that analogy, the God who is our very life milk) provides all we need…If all creation is praising Him with all it’s might…what’s our excuse for not? 13. This Rock (Bonus Track)
I wrote this song for the capital campaign for our church’s new worship center and it went along with a DVD that Legacy Marketing and Design Group put together for our Body. It’s funny because when you think about it…God doesn’t need anything, not a thing…but He wants us and desires for us to give ourselves completely to Him. Meaning that we must live in Him, on the Rock of His faithfulness and we must find all of our life in Him.
What have I to bring, to the God
